Rav Zalman Schneerson: Leader in Peace and in War

RABBI SHNEUR ZALMAN SCHNEERSON was a unique, 
charismatic,and fascinating personality. During the Holocaust he took bold and dangerous measures to save countless Jewish children. A visionary long before the revolutionary development of computer science technology, he recognized the potential of computer science as a profession for observant Jews and, as an activist, founded an institution to make that dream a reality. -Dr. Judith Bleich, Touro University 

In the dark period of World War II, RABBI ZALMAN SCHNEERSON stood out as a beacon of light and hope. His larger-than-life, audacious personality and his anchored faith in God enabled him to do the impossible. He created an orphanage in France where he cared for hundreds of bereft children, providing them with regular Torah classes, throughout the Nazi occupation. 
His granddaughter, Sterna Citron, did a phenomenal job in researching that period and producing an exciting historical work. -Rabbi Gershon Schusterman
